Assistive Technology Loans
The Canadian Hard of Hearing Association - Newfoundland and Labrador (CHHA-NL) offers a technical devices loan program. We offer a wide variety of assistive devices ranging from amplified microphone devices that maximize the use of residual hearing to signalling devices that alert those who are hard of hearing to different sounds and alarms. Our loans service allows recipients to test different devices, to be sure of their benefits, before purchasing one from a retail outlet.
A list of sales outlets for those looking to purchase assistive technology can be found here.
