Membership
Individuals who join the Canadian Hard of Hearing Association (CHHA) automatically become members of the National Association, the Chapter in the province in which they live and the Branch in their area, if one exists.
The Newfoundland and Labrador Chapter of CHHA, known as CHHA-NL is located in St. John's, Newfoundland. There are currently four branches, the Gander Branch, Exploits Valley Branch, Corner Brook-Humber Valley Branch and Happy Valley-Goose Bay Branch.

Membership in CHHA comes with voting privileges at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) and a subscription to the national magazine, LISTEN/ECOUTE.
Newfoundland and Labrador members receive the chapter newsletter called SOUND WAVES.
